Teacher’s guide

The guide “Playful Coding: Engaging young minds with creative computing” is the result of the 2-year work in the framework of the Early Mastery project. Over this period, we have worked together and worked with children in different countries. We have tested each other’s ideas, criticised them, and improved them. It has been a learning process for all of us.

This book is our way of passing our learning on to you: to those teachers and enthusiasts who can make a difference in classrooms and code clubs by using computers and computational thinking across curriculum. You will find advice, tips, and a set of playful coding activities in order to engage your students in a new learning experience using innovative technologies in an easy and stimulating way.

To facilitate the reading, we have translated the guide into the partner languages: English, French, Italian, Spanish, Romanian and Welsh.
